We service clients in our clinic; our clients are not only based in Columbus, but also come from Shelbyville, North Vernon, Seymour, Elizabethtown, Edinburgh and other surrounding cities. Our goal is to best meet our clients’ needs in order to increase their independence and quality of life across all environments. Empowering Kids Pediatric Therapy Speech Therapist Job Description

*ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP), current Indiana License
*12-24 hours per week (as agreed upon between employee and owner)
*Must be professional with clients and their family
*Enthusiastic and energetic individual who enjoys working with children, wants to continue to learn and implement evidence based practices, and thrives in a team environment
*Will consider CF

*Evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
*Develop and implement effective treatment plans
*Professionally provide counseling to clients and their family about results of testing and recommended plan of care
*Complete session and progress notes in a timely and organized manner
*Refer patients to other medical professionals as needed

*AOTA or ACOTE Certified Occupational Therapist, current Indiana License
*12-24 hours per week (as agreed upon between employee and owner)
*2+ years of experience with pediatrics required
*Must be professional with clients and their family
*Enthusiastic and energetic individual who enjoys working with
children, wants to continue to learn and implement evidence based
practices, and thrives in a team environment

*Evaluate, diagnose and treat fine motor, sensory, and oral
motor/strength skills
*Develop and implement effective treatment plans
*Professionally provide counseling to clients and their family about
results of testing and recommended plan of care
*Complete session and progress notes in a timely and organized manner
*Refer patients to other medical professionals as needed
